The Patient Satisfaction and Safety Survey (PSSS) is an 18-item survey used to assess physical, sexual, and emotional intimate partner violence, including the following three categories: acute trauma from abuse, past-year prevalence of physical or sexual abuse, and lifetime prevalence of emotional or physical abuse
